Mobile CRM specialists Element Wave announce case study with bwin.party
Mobile Marketing technology company Element Wave has been working with Gibraltar based betting giant bwin.party for the past 15 months to deliver mobile CRM to boost engagement with betting players. Element Wave focussed on mobile targeting to drive success on bwin.party’s native apps.
Element Wave’s managed mobile activities implemented a full schedule of targeted push and in-app notifications across 15 of bwin.party’s native mobile apps, both sportsbook and casino across a number of European markets including Germany, Spain, France and the UK.
Pre-match bets on the rise
By utilising timely and relevant content via push and in-app notifications, mobile bet numbers were boosted by 200-300% in comparison to control groups. Pre-match messaging consists of marketing communications sent as a push or in-app ahead of match kick-off. These marketing messages always included context,were delivered based on previous mobile betting behaviour and featured relevant calls-to-action.
In-play mobile focus
In-play is increasingly important in iGaming, particularly amongst millennial bettors as users second-screen and brands improve in-play app experiences. By focusing on in-play on mobile, Element Wave was able to target and deliver notifications resulting in 50 and 100 times more in-play mobile bets on specific campaigns. In addition, real-time betting campaigns produced twice as many overall mobile bets across all live markets on selected sporting events.
